What is the most pressing problem to solve globally? Why?
People's short-sighted, limited, us-or-them view of the future. Everything we do is colored by strongly -- possibly even *determined* -- by our picture of the future. If our view of the world is of a place of dwindling supplies, a zero-sum game in which only the fittest, most aggressive and snakiest survive, well, there goes the ball game. All the people who have most positively affected humanity and the planet -- the Gandhis, Franklins, Wilberforces, et al. -- all acted from a view of the future as one of unlimited possibility, and especially, as being on a course of elevation and continual, everlasting betterment for all. And then, there is the futureview of a Dick Cheney. Different picture, different actions, different results, different world. How we see the future *becomes* the future. We need visionaries.

What is the most pressing problem to solve locally, in your own surroundings? Why?
How kids treat each other in schools, and how they are treated at home. That's where it all starts.

Your biggest fear about the future? Why?
That I will not get to see as much of it as I might. (Note to self: live longer.)

Three global leaders who will set next decade's course? Why?
This is really hard, because most "global leaders" *respond* to the course of events, more than *setting* them, and those who actually do set them tend to be either fairly unknown, or to arise unexpectedly from relative obscurity. (Rosa Parks -- who knew?) But to stop evading the question: 1. Wen Jiabao, the Premier of the People's Republic of China. Actually, a confession: I am nowhere knowledgable enough to have a clue whether this guy is truly influential or not, but it seems to me that China is the 800-pound gorilla right now, and whatever they do for the next ten years, the rest of the world will have to deal with. They're going through probably the most dramatic and gigantic (in sheer numbers) transformation in history. Yipe. 2. Omar al-Bashir, President of Sudan. Again, a disclaimer: this might not be the guy. Bashir's in charge of one of the diciest and most delicate flashpoints in the flashpointiest region there is. But it could be that some other African leader emerges as more critical. As the world's economic tide has moved from India, to China, I think Africa's next. Africa is the next century's China. 3. Me. Why pick me as "global leader who will set next decade's course"? Practical reasons: It makes more sense to think of myself as cause than as effect. If things are going to change, they might as well start somewhere, and that might as well be here. Besides, it's good to have influence over an influential world leader, and the only person I have much influence over (at least, so far as I'm aware) is myself.

What is most important in life for you personally?
Truth, the pursuit of excellence, beauty, love, great food, humor. In that order. Only maybe "love" comes first. Or maybe it's "humor." Or maybe, "decisiveness." Wait, that wasn't on the list.

What is the most pressing problem to solve globally? Why?
Pollution. Melting and poisoning of the planet may soon be understood to have made all other issues, by comparison, irrelevant.

What is the most pressing problem to solve locally, in your own surroundings? Why?
My local surroundings are not acceptable. Sooner or later, I will have to move. The only question is, where should I go and how will I get there.

Your biggest fear about the future? Why?
That I may not recover my health and will become destitute and alone.

Three global leaders who will set next decade's course? Why?
I don't believe in leaders anymore. The world's problems are too large now for the leaders and followers model. Leaders and followers have arguably made minor improvements here and there in the history of the world, but for the most part, seen from a great distance, leaders and followers usually accelerate the overall harm. The unanswered question is, "what is the endpoint of human technology and humanity in general?" Positive? Negative? Survival? Extinction? No leader or group of followers can definitively answer this. Unless they are deluded by "faith". Only time will tell and right now it isn't looking good.

What is most important in life for you personally?
Love, and health.

What is the most pressing problem to solve globally? Why?
Energy, Religion, Population growth.

What is the most pressing problem to solve locally, in your own surroundings? Why?
Too many people. The trains, buses and roads are always rammed. Londons pay might be high but the standard of living is horrid.

Your biggest fear about the future? Why?
That climate change will create mass migration of billions of people, that will in turn make the earth pretty much a living hell.

Three global leaders who will set next decade's course? Why?
None of them. Do not see a single leaders don't have the diplomacy to lead.

What is most important in life for you personally?
A slow pace and peace and quiet

What is the most pressing problem to solve globally? Why?
Despair and disenfranchisement. Because though I feel that though there is an inexorable upward trend in emergent consciousness, there is also a large entropic undertow which expresses aggregately. This must be addressed for two principle reasons: As a species and as planetary co-inhabitants, the fleet can only move as freely as the slowest ship. Also - with so many systems on the literal cusp of unsustainability, the hopeless become susceptible to inverted radical fatalistic ideologies. This danger is compounded by the access provided by the unprincipled to means by which this despair can be projected destructively. People who love themselves, love and steward the well being of other living beings naturally.

What is the most pressing problem to solve locally, in your own surroundings? Why?
My most compelling priority is greater personal illumination and greater personal and financial freedom. Because when good people prosper, everyone wins automatically (even if all they do is "go organic"). Essentially - I want greater wisdom and wherewithal in order to be more able to contribute and inspire.

Your biggest fear about the future? Why?
I have no such fear. I am naturally saddened by all forms of cruelty -- especially when willfully perpetrated upon the innocent. Like children and critters . . . plants & bugs and soil too. But I have no fear as such because I am unambivalent about my intention to be progressively conscious and kind, and I trust in the larger matrix of love and life (the cosmic, the Tao) to support, receive and use my life for greater good.

Three global leaders who will set next decade's course? Why?
Christ, Buddha & Lao Tzu. Because they all point in the same direction. Kindness, compassion, humility and truth. Naturally it is up to all of us whether or not we stay on course.

What is most important in life for you personally?
Trusting in the essential innocence of all beings; remembering our "original face" and knowing that all darkness of expression is extrinsic, temporary and most of all, a plea for restoration.

What is the most pressing problem to solve globally? Why?
There are no global problems there is only individuals living in the dark.

What is the most pressing problem to solve locally, in your own surroundings? Why?
I have no problem. Self realization and self manifestation and enlightenment and learning to create my reality through the Teachings of Abraham as channelled by Ester Hicks is my goal but the abscence of these desires is not a problem. The challenge is to create my thoughts that create my reality that create my joy. Everyday is a new adventure. Everyday within my mind I create freedom and joy.

Your biggest fear about the future? Why?
FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real. FEAR is a warning signal that some thing is not quite 'right' and when it warns me and I assess its reality and any followup it triggers then I thank it for its help and let it go. I have no fear about the future as I do not create with my thoughts things that I do not want.

Three global leaders who will set next decade's course? Why?
The leaders who are self realized who understand we are all citizens of the one country of earth. We are not separate, people are only creating that reality for themselves with their thoughts.

What is most important in life for you personally?
To realize that which society has been believing and teaching and thinking is not that which I have to think or believe. What is most important is to understand the freedom to create whatever thoughts and beliefs I CHOOSE not which others would have me believe. I am the creator of my own existance and I bring into my day what I bring into my day, no one else does this, the power is wi thin in me, surrounds me, and breathes me. I am one. We are one. Thank you for aligning with my vibrations and coming into my existance through your website. The buckwheat info is most appreciated.

What is the most pressing problem to solve globally? Why?
The USA must focus on "fitting in" with all people on the planet. Now is the time to recognize the many alternatives to “peace through power” and to let the world leaders feel our love.

What is the most pressing problem to solve locally, in your own surroundings? Why?
Helping people focus on the good of all people. We need to see all races united in not just athletics, but in spiritual celebrations and brainstorming important questions like these.

Your biggest fear about the future? Why?
I fear our government will continue taunting make believe terrorist in an effort to retain world rage. All this so they can sell US citizens on the necessity of war and sell more weapo ns to innocent allies.

Three global leaders who will set next decade's course? Why?
Oprah Winfrey because the world loves her. Hillary Clinton because she’ll be our next president. And lastly Sonia Gandhi will continue to fill this world with love and steer Oprah and Hillary on a path to peace.

What is most important in life for you personally?
My life is devoted to leaving the planet in better shape than I found it. I believe we must first help people get the chemicals out of their systems so they can love again.
